2027 camp sessions

Every session runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Campers may attend one session per summer so that as many families as possible get a week at the farm.

Nature Adventure Camp

The classic Turtle Creek week. Campers hold bunnies, guinea pigs, chicks and ducklings, meet reptiles and amphibians, hunt for bugs and toads in the wetland, net turtles and fish in the pond, watch for birds in the woods, and spend afternoons playing Roxaboxen.

Advanced Nature Adventure Camp

For campers ready to go deeper. Study skulls, fur, feathers, tracks and scat, work with real microscopes, wade the wetlands collecting specimens, and dig for fossils and classify rocks in our geology lessons.

What to bring

  • A packed lunch and drinks
  • Sunscreen, applied before arrival
  • Insect repellent
  • Water is available at the farm all day

What to wear

No skirts and no sandals, please — campers are in the pond, the wetland and the barn. Send them in closed shoes and clothes that can get thoroughly dirty.

Cash and check only. Please make checks payable to Turtle Creek Farm and mail to 6205 Cooley Lake Rd., Waterford, MI 48327. Payment must be received by April 1.
