- When does registration open?
+
- Registration for 2027 opens Monday, February 1, 2027 at 8:00 AM. The form unlocks by itself at that moment — there is nothing to refresh and no code to enter. Sessions have filled within minutes in past years, so it is worth being ready.
- How old does my camper have to be?
+
- Nature Adventure Camp is for ages 5 and up. Advanced Nature Adventure Camp is for ages 8 and up. We check age as of the first day of the session, and the registration form will tell you right away if a week is not a fit.
- Can my child attend more than one session?
+
- Campers attend one session per summer. That rule is what lets us give as many Michigan families as possible a week at the farm.
- What happens if the session I want is full?
+
- You can still register: the form puts your camper on that session’s waitlist and tells you the position immediately, in writing. Plans change every year, and we work down the list in order and email you the moment a spot opens.
- How much does camp cost and how do I pay?
+
- Tuition is $350 per camper, per week. Cash and check only. Please make checks payable to Turtle Creek Farm and mail to 6205 Cooley Lake Rd., Waterford, MI 48327. Payment must be received by April 1.
- What should my camper bring?
+
- A packed lunch and drinks, sunscreen applied before arrival, and insect repellent. Water is available at the farm all day. Please, no skirts and no sandals — campers are in the pond, the wetland and the barn, so send closed shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
- What are the camp hours?
+
- Every session runs Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
- Can I visit the farm outside of camp?
+
- Turtle Creek Farm is a private working farm and is not open to the public. Camp is how families get to experience it.
- My child has allergies or a medical condition. Where do I tell you?
+
- There is a dedicated place on the registration form for allergies, medications and medical notes, along with an emergency contact. Everything you enter there prints straight onto the roster and the camper card your instructor carries that week.
- How will I know my registration went through?
+
- You will see a confirmation on screen with a confirmation code for each camper, and an email arrives within a minute or two. No more waiting a week to find out.
- I have an early-access code. Where does it go?
+
- Enter it in the "Early access code" box at the top of the registration form. Valid codes unlock registration before it opens to the public, and some also hold a spot in a full session.
- How do I cancel or change a registration?
+
- Email Turtlecreekfarm1@aol.com or call 586-292-3644 with your confirmation code. Cancelling early frees the spot for a family on the waitlist.
